Dominik Tiffels (born February 20, 1994 in Cologne ) is a German ice hockey player . He has been under contract with the Kölner Haien since 2017 .

career

Tiffels played in his youth in Krefeld, Cologne and Mannheim. With the young eagles he was champion of the German junior league in 2012 and 2013 . In 2012/13, in addition to the DNL, he also played in the Oberliga West for the Rote Teufel Bad Nauheim .

He spent the 2013/14 season in the United States , playing for Minnesota Wilderness in the North American Hockey League . He returned to his home country, made the leap into the professional field with the Heilbronner Falken in the DEL2 and switched to the Hamburg Freezers in the German ice hockey league for the 2015/16 season . In addition to stakes for Hamburg, thanks to a sponsorship license, he booked more games for REV Bremerhaven , at that time still in the second division. In the 2016/17 season he was on the ice for Bremerhaven in the DEL.

For the 2017/18 season, he moved back to his native Cologne and signed a contract with the Haien . With a support license he also played for the Löwen Frankfurt in the DEL2.
