Simon Gnyp

Simon Gnyp (born September 10, 2001 in Burghausen ) is a German ice hockey player .

Gnyp was born in Burghausen in the Upper Bavarian district of Altötting . He started his career at SV Gendorf Burgkirchen. From 2014 to 2016 he played in the youth team of EV Landshut . In 2016 he moved to the U16 of the Kölner Haie , where he was also used in the U19. He played his first game for the DEL team of the Kölner Haie in the 3-1 victory of the KEC in the DEL game against the Schwenninger Wild Wings on December 6, 2018.

Gnyp played in the German national ice hockey teams U16, U17 and U18.

For the 2019/20 season he received a funding license for the EC Bad Nauheim .
