Marc El-Sayed (born January 18, 1991 in Wetzlar ) is a German ice hockey player who has been under contract with EC Bad Nauheim from the DEL2 since 2019 .

Career

The 1.89 m tall striker played in his youth for EC Bad Nauheim , for which he played in the Junior Bundesliga from 2004 to 2006. For the 2006/07 season, El-Sayed switched to the Adler Mannheim organization , which initially only used him with the young eagles in the German Junior League and from 2008 also with the cooperation partner Heilbronner Falken in the 2nd Bundesliga .

The native of Hesse had had a professional contract with the Eagles since 2009, but was initially entitled to play for the Falcons due to a sponsorship license . In April 2014 it was announced that El-Sayed had signed a two-year contract with league rivals Nürnberg Ice Tigers .

In April 2016, the Schwenninger Wild Wings announced El-Sayed's commitment. He signed a three-year contract. In March 2019, he decided to return to his hometown club.

International

For the German U18 national team, Marc El-Sayed completed the U18 Junior World Championship in 2008 and the U18 Junior World Championship in 2009 , in which he was the team's best scorer with three goals and three assists , but not the descent of the DEB selection could prevent. He took part in the 2011 World Cup with the German U20 team.
