career

DiVincenzo comes from the US state of Delaware and recommended himself with his achievements at the Salesianum High School for a scholarship at the Villanova University . In his last playing year at high school (2014/15) he achieved averages of 22.9 points, 9.0 rebounds and 4.0 assists.

With Villanova, DiVincenzo won the NCAA Division I Basketball Championship in the first division of the NCAA in 2016 and 2018 , breaking his foot in December 2015 and then being out until the end of the season. In the course of his three years in the university team, he increased his playing time, his points, three-point throws, his rebounds, basket assists and ball wins per game in each season, among other statistical indicators. In the 2017/18 game year, he recorded 13.4 points per game, plus 4.8 rebounds and 3.5 assists. He also hit 85 of his 212 litters from beyond the triple line. In the NCAA final in early April 2018, which DiVincenzo won with Villanova against the University of Michigan , he scored 31 points, made decisive three-point throws in the closing stages and was named the best player of the game.

In the spring of 2018, he ended his university days and announced that he would switch to a professional career. In the National Basketball Association (NBA) draft process in June 2018, he was selected 17th by the Milwaukee Bucks . Due to injuries (groin and foot), he was used in only 27 NBA games in 2018/19 and scored 4.9 points per encounter.
