The Dore is a river in France that runs in the Puy-de-Dôme department in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region . It rises under the name Ruisseau de Berny near the hamlet of Le Brémont , on the municipal boundary of Saint-Germain-l'Herm and Saint-Bonnet-le-Bourg , first drains to the southeast, then turns north to northwest, crosses the Livradois Regional Nature Park -Forez and after around 140 kilometers it flows into the Allier as a right tributary on the municipal boundary of Ris and Mons .
