Dos (own spelling ¡Dos! ) Is the tenth studio album by the American punk band Green Day . It was released on November 9, 2012 on Reprise Records . Dos is the second album in a trilogy, which is completed by the albums Uno (September 21, 2012) and Tré (December 11, 2012, and December 7th in Germany).

While Uno ties in with the punk rock sound of the early Green Day albums, the Dos songs are more based on the rougher Garage Rock . Dos is stylistically strongly influenced by Green Day's side project Foxboro Hot Tubs (whose style can also be assigned to Garage Rock); the song Fuck Time was first performed at Foxboro Hottubs concerts.

Overall, despite a different style, the criticism was very similar to that of the predecessor Uno . With 68 points, Metacritic calculated almost the same Metascore that they assigned to Uno after evaluating 32 test reports from various publications .

Laut.de awards two out of five stars , as with UNO :

“There they are now, the three Californian Pinocchio noses, and in terms of sound they continue exactly where they say" Uno! " stopped a few weeks ago. The common bubblegum major scheme is also largely retained during the first third of the album. Replaceable and predictable songs like 'Stop When The Red Lights Flash' or 'Wild One' bob around. Only "Lazy Bones" turns out to be a thoroughly coherent three-star bite for friends of catchy party food. "

",DOS!' sounds significantly different than '¡Uno!'. Instead of doing more of the same, this time Green Day are largely based on their alter-ego band Foxboro Hot Tubs. In their best moments, the band delivers clattering garage rock with a lot of fire under the bum. […] A handful of good songs are not enough to save Green Day's middle piece from the fate of other middle pieces. One can only hope that the catastrophe in the dramaturgical sense does not turn into a catastrophe in the musical sense. "
