The Eastern Region ( dt. "Eastern Region") is a region of Ghana with the capital Koforidua .
geography
The region is located in the southeast of the country and borders the Bono East Region in the north, the Oti Region and the Volta Region in the east, the Greater Accra Region in the southeast, the Central Region in the southwest and the Ashanti Region in the west .
Its northeast border runs in the Volta reservoir .
