Eichhofen is a district of Markt Indersdorf in the Upper Bavarian district of Dachau . The village is about two and a half kilometers northwest of Indersdorf and can be reached via the district road DAH 2 .

The place was first named in the 12th century as "Euchenhofen".

On April 1, 1971, the formerly independent municipality of Eichhofen was incorporated into Markt Markt Indersdorf.
