Frauenhofen is a district of the Markt Indersdorf market in the Upper Bavarian district of Dachau . The hamlet is about two kilometers south of Indersdorf and can be reached via State Road 2050 .

The place was first mentioned in 1260 as "Laushoven". In 1374 he is attested as "Frawenhoffen de Babaria". In 1429 it was handed down as "Fraunhoven".

On April 1, 1971, 90 of the 130 residents of the formerly independent community of Frauenhofen were incorporated into Markt Markt Indersdorf and 40 residents were incorporated into the community of Weichs .
