from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Stachusried (Hammerhof) is a district of the Markt Indersdorf market , which is about 46 kilometers northwest of Munich in the Upper Bavarian district of Dachau .

history

The hamlet “Starchantsried” (“swampy dwelling place of a strong hand”) belonging to the parish of Weichs was handed over to the Scheyern monastery by Arnold von Aufhausen (Weichs) around 1200 ; it consisted of a courtyard until the 18th century. From 1730 onwards, instead of Stachusried, the name “Hammerhof” was written, but it has recently been reverted to the original name.
