Ried is a district of the Markt Indersdorf market in the Upper Bavarian district of Dachau . The village is about one kilometer south of Indersdorf and can be reached via State Road 2054 .

The place was first mentioned in 784 as "Reodir".

On April 1, 1971, the formerly independent municipality of Ried was incorporated into Markt Markt Indersdorf.
