Obergeiersberg

Obergeiersberg is a district of the Markt Indersdorf market , which is about 46 kilometers northwest of Munich in the Upper Bavarian district of Dachau .

history

The parish of Long Pettenbach belonging wasteland was in 1350 "Geirsperch" (the upper mountain of vultures) and around 1500 called Geiersberg and belonged to the manor and jurisdiction for Hofmark Jetzendorf , later the Anger monastery in Munich . After the War of the Austrian Succession , Geiersberg was reported as abandoned.
