action

As in the previous films, the homosexual couple Albin and Renato run a frivolous nightclub in Saint-Tropez . Her financial worries with the establishment could be finally resolved this time, however, as Albin has prospects of inheriting a distant uncle. A castle in Scotland, surrounding lands, a title of nobility and, of course, substantial funds could soon be in his possession. When Albin travels to Scotland, however, he learns that the inheritance is tied to the condition that he of all people , the staunch drag queen , not only marry, but even become a father within 18 months.

Albin does not even think about it and therefore hides the potential inheritance from his partner Renato. When he finds out, he storms Albin to try to keep the club and thus their life's purpose. Renato even tries to function as a woman, but this is not really convincing, as he is not used to this role at all. Albin is on the verge of desperation and is already thinking of suicide, while Renato continues to try to convince Albin of the necessity of the inheritance by all means. He doesn't even hesitate to convince Albin that he's gotten straight.

Then, with Cindy, a woman enters the story who seems suitable as a presentable wife, especially since she brings the corresponding child with her. The wedding of Albin and Cindy is being planned under high pressure, Albin seems to be playing along and is supposed to be the heterosexual groom. But on the wedding day, he can't manage to bend so badly: He also appears as a bride.

Cindy has meanwhile got involved with the alternative heir Mortimer, there is also a wedding and with it an inheritance. In the end, the two couples agree to share the lavish inheritance and the nightclub is saved.

Gross profit

On the opening weekend in the USA (February 15/16, 1986), the film grossed almost $ 200,000 in 49 cinemas. Overall, the film achieved gross revenues of just under $ 350,000 in the USA. Almost twice as much was recorded in Germany.

criticism

"The trivial comedy, which is completely tailored to the two main actors, draws on the familiar flat patterns and again overstimulates the cliché of tuna-like homosexuals."
