The 13th European Ice Hockey Championship for U18 juniors took place from April 1 to 7, 1980 in Hradec Králové in Czechoslovakia . The games of group B were played from March 4 to 8, 1980 in Jesenice in Yugoslavia (now Slovenia ). The C group played from March 29 to April 3, 1980 in Frederikshavn , Denmark .
