The 15th European ice hockey championship of the U18 juniors took place from March 29 to April 4, 1982 in Ängelholm and Tyringe in Sweden . The games of group B were played from March 18 to 24, 1982 in Sofia , Bulgaria . From March 23 to 27, 1982 the cities of Durham , Billingham and Whitley Bay in Northern England were the venues for the C Group .

A group

The Polish team did not take part in the World Cup. It was replaced by the U17 selection of the host country, whose results, however, were not counted for the World Cup tournament.
