The 14th European ice hockey championship for the U18 juniors took place from April 2 to 8, 1981 in Minsk in the Soviet Union (now Belarus ). The games of group B were played from March 15 to 21, 1981 in Miercurea Ciuc in Romania . Group C played from March 19 to 24, 1981. This tournament was played in three cities each in Belgium ( Heist-op-den-Berg , Deurne , Liège ) and the Netherlands ( Geel , Roosendaal , Tilburg ).
