Embarrass is located in northeastern central Wisconsin, around 75 km north-northwest of Lake Winnebago and around 60 km west of Green Bay on Lake Michigan . The place lies on both sides of the Embarrass River , which belongs to the catchment area of the Green Bay of Lake Michigan via the Wolf River and the Fox River .
