Erinn Veronica Westbrook (born January 12, 1991 in Long Island , New York City ) is an American actress , singer , dancer and model .

Private life

Westbrook was born in Long Island, New York, but moved to Town & Country, Missouri when he was six . She attended John Burroughs School where she was the captain of the cheerleaders . She studied English, American Language and Literature at Harvard University , Dramatic Arts and has an advanced certification in Spanish . She wrote for Harvard Crimson and was president of the student council.

Career

After interning at CNBC , NBC and Oxygen , Westbrook began her career with MTV . In addition to reporting on topics relevant to young people, her main activities have hosted SXSW and mtvU Movers & Changers. She served as a primary promoter of MTV Spring Break 2010, 2011 and 2012. In 2012, Westbrook had a recurring role on Mr. Box Office, with Bill Bellamy , Vivica Fox and Jon Lovitz . She also choreographed two episodes in 2013. She began her career in Los Angeles as a model with Ford Models in ads for Nike , Weinberg Vines, Seventeen Magazine, and Cosmopolitan Magazine . In autumn 2013 Westbrook was introduced as one of the "Fashion's Next It Girls" in Hollywood by Who, What, Wear. She made guest appearances on a number of shows including Switched at Birth, Supernatural, Bones, NCIS, and most recently Jane the Virgin. She was best known for her role as Captain of the Cheerios, Bree, during the fifth season of Glee. In the spring of 2014, Westbrook joined the cast of MTV's hit drama Awkward , and continued her role through the fifth and final season, which ended in 2016. In the summer of 2014 Westbrook was invited by the US embassies in London to visit Singapore, Malaysia and Indonesia as ambassadors for culture and the arts.
