Ernst Haspinger
Ernst Haspinger (born July 2, 1955 in Welsberg-Taisten ) is a former Italian luge rider from South Tyrol .
Ernst Haspinger won the overall Luge World Cup three times in a row in 1980, 1981 and 1983. In 1983 he was able to achieve third place overall. At the 1981 World Championships in Hammarstrand , he won the bronze medal behind Sergei Danilin and Michael Walter . He was also able to win the bronze medal at the European Championships - even three times in a row (1980, 1982, 1984).
