Eva Maria Marold
Eva Maria Marold (born December 7, 1968 in Eisenstadt ) as Eva Maria Pinczolich (Marold is the maiden name of her mother) is an Austrian theater and television actress , cabaret artist , singer and dancer .
Life
After graduating from the ORG Theresianum Eisenstadt , Eva Maria Marold initially studied English and Italian at the University of Vienna for four years . From 1990 to 1993 she attended the Conservatory of the City of Vienna (musical entertainment theater, classical vocal training) and learned acting with Eric Morris and David Hall in Los Angeles .
She had her first big success in 1997 when she played Magda in the musical Tanz der Vampire . For this role she received the International Musical Award Germany (IMAGE) . Other musical roles followed, for example in Mozart! , Jekyll & Hyde , Barbarella or The Man from La Mancha .
In addition, she can also be seen again and again in cabaret programs and television productions and works as a background singer on numerous music productions.
Eva Maria Marold has written two solo programs so far, which she played in the Vienna Metropol .
In October 2008 Marold published her first solo CD with the title "I söbst"; on it pop songs can be heard in Austrian dialect. She was on the road in Austria for several years with the program of the same name. In January 2011 she presented her new cabaret program “Working Mom” in the Walfischgasse city theater.
From March 2012 Eva Maria Marold was seen in the seventh season of Dancing Stars . She retired from the 8th broadcast of this season on May 4, 2012.
Eva Maria Marold has been part of the core team of the ORF TV comedy quiz show “What's new?” For over 15 years.
The actress is the mother of two sons.
