Evet, I want! ( Turkish evet 'ja') is a German comedy film by Sinan Akkuş from 2008. The premiere took place on November 15, 2008 as part of the Lünen cinema festival. The film was released in Germany on October 1, 2009. The film was awarded the title “particularly valuable” by the Wiesbaden film evaluation office .

The film shows the path between four different Berlin couples. What they all have in common here are their “difficult cultural and family circumstances” (press text): Emrah of Turkish origin loves Tim, the Sunni Kurd Coşkun loves the Turkish Alevi Günay, Dirk loves the Turkish Özlem against his parents' wishes. Salih doesn't love anyone yet, but should fall in love with a German citizen as quickly as possible (and marry her) if he wants to stay in Germany.
The couple, who immigrated from Turkey decades ago, can only smile at the numerous turbulences between lovers on the way to marital happiness: they were chosen and married by their parents almost 60 years ago.

By Evet, I want! it is the first full-length feature film by the director Sinan Akkuş. It was produced by Luna-Film, Rundfunk Berlin-Brandenburg , arte and Backup Media. He was funded by the Medienboard Berlin-Brandenburg, Maxximum Film Und Kunst and the German Film Fund, among others .
The filming of the film was completed in 2007.

Bernd Buder from film service saw Evet, I want! the “young genre of German-Turkish ethno-comedy with a little Lubitsch touch (ennobled)”.
