Fábio Daniel Ferreira Vieira (born May 30, 2000 in Santa Maria da Feira ) is a Portuguese football player who is under contract with the first division club FC Porto . The offensive player has been the Portuguese U21 international since November 2019 .

Fábio Vieira, born in Santa Maria da Feira , comes from the youth department of FC Porto , where he spent his entire youth career as a loan player with Padroense FC in the 2015/16 season, with a one-year break . On February 24, 2019 (23rd matchday) he made his debut in the 0-1 away defeat against FC Arouca for the reserve team in the second-highest Portuguese division when he came on for Kelechi Nwakali in the 57th minute . This was his only appearance for FC Porto B in this 2018/19 season, in which he also took part in the UEFA Youth League with the U19 team . With this selection reached the final as an important regular player with the selection. The offensive player contributed a goal to the 3-1 final win against Chelsea .

He was finally promoted to the reserve team for the next 2019/20 season . On August 25, 2019 (3rd matchday), he scored for the reserve for the first time in a 3-1 away win against SC Farense and also prepared a goal in this game. Vieira quickly established himself as a regular on the wing and after the turn of the year he was able to meet regularly. His good performance earned him an appointment to the first team of head coach Sérgio Conceição during the forced break due to the COVID-19 pandemic . National team

In June 2018, Fábio Vieira completed two international matches for the Portuguese U18 national team . In March 2019 he was used for the first time for the U19s and took part with this selection at the U19 European Championship 2019 in Armenia . In the second group match against Spain , he equalized the 1-1 final score. As a starter in all games, he reached the final with Portugal, in which they met again on Spain. But now you had to accept a 2-0 defeat. He was then elected to the team of the tournament together with his compatriot Félix Correia . He played a total of nine international matches for the U19s, in which he scored a goal.

In September 2019 he made his debut for the U20 and two months later he was used for the first time for the U21 .
