Fale i Fono ( English House of Assembly ) refers to the parliament in the unicameral system of Tuvalu . According to the Tuvalu constitution, at least 12 members of parliament are elected for four years each. Since the country became independent, the parliament has always had 15 seats.
It meets in the village of Vaiaku in the capital, Funafuti .
