Felipe Augusto Santana (born March 17, 1986 in Rio Claro , São Paulo ) is a Brazilian soccer player .

Career

Felipe Santana moved from the Brazilian first division club Figueirense FC to Borussia Dortmund for the 2008/09 season , where he received a five-year contract valid until June 30, 2013. On September 21, 2008 he made his debut in the game against 1899 Hoffenheim when he was put into the starting line-up by coach Jürgen Klopp and scored a goal. In 2011 and 2012 he was German champion with BVB. Beginning in June 2012 extended his contract with BVB Santana prematurely by one year to 30 June 2014.
