The telecommunications tower Bredstedt is located on the Stollberg near Bredstedt . The system for VHF , mobile radio and directional radio , also known as the Bredstedt 3 radio transmission center , is housed in a 108 meter high tower. The operator and owner of the system is now the Deutsche Funkturm (DFMG), a subsidiary of Deutsche Telekom based in Münster .
A special feature of the type tower (FMT 11) is a 20-meter-high viewing platform that can be reached by stairs. Only the two telecommunications towers Jakobsberg and Bungsberg have a similar, publicly accessible platform.
