Florian Stelzle

Florian Stelzle (born January 13, 1978 ) is a German running athlete and was active in triathlon from 1994 to 2010 , from 2008 to 2010 as a professional. He is included in the best list of German triathletes on the Ironman distance .

Career

In 1995 Florian Stelzle started triathlon in the triathlon department of TV Landau. In 2002 Stelzle started for SC Delphin Ingolstadt , and in 2003 for Team Baier Landshut in the Triathlon Bundesliga . From 2004 to 2005 Stelzle started for the Baier Landshut team in the 2nd Triathlon Bundesliga. In 2005 he was named City Sportsman of the Year in Landau an der Isar .

In 2007 Florian Stelzle reached the finish line at Challenge Roth in 8:34:24 h . In 2008 Stelzle started for the first time with a professional license from the German Triathlon Union (DTU). Stelzle canceled a planned start at Ironman Austria due to a lumbar vertebra fracture .

On October 11, 2015, Stelzle won the Munich Marathon in 2:29:57 h and was Bavarian champion.

Florian Stelzle worked as a teacher at the Ursuline Realschule in Landshut .
