The Eschweiler Forestry Office was one of the 35 regional forestry offices newly established in the state of North Rhine-Westphalia with effect from October 1, 1995 . As a result of the reorganization, it was opened on July 1, 2007 in the regional forest office 03 Rureifel-Jülicher Börde . The Eschweiler office building was given up on February 28, 2008.
