Fröbersgrün is in the north of the municipality of Rosenbach / Vogtl. and borders on another district of the municipality and a district of the city of Plauen in the Saxon Vogtlandkreis as well as two districts of the city of Zeulenroda-Triebes and a district of the city of Greiz in the Thuringian district of Greiz .

history

The Waldhufendorf was first mentioned in 1366 as Fröberssgrun . Since 1449 the place belonged to the Reuss-Greiz rule . By belonging to the Greiz District Court from 1895 and to the Greiz district of the Principality of Reuss older line from 1925, the place finally came to the Zeulenroda district in 1952 , before the place was reclassified to the Plauen-Land district in the same year . In 1994 Fröbersgrün was incorporated into Syrau. Together with Syrau, the place has been part of the Rosenbach / Vogtl municipality since January 1, 2011 .
