Frank Bräutigam (born December 1, 1975 in Mettmann ) is a German television journalist , presenter , court reporter and fully qualified lawyer .

Life

When Bridegroom was born, his father Jochen Bräutigam, who had a doctorate in business administration from Paderborn , was working for WestLB in Düsseldorf . When the father was elected to the board of the Kreissparkasse Limburg , the family moved to Limburg an der Lahn . Groom attended the local grammar school there, the Tilemannschule , and was also an altar boy under Bishop Franz Kamphaus . When the father became a member of the board of the Stadtsparkasse Aachen in 1989, the family moved to Aachen . There the father advanced to deputy chairman in 1995 and chairman of the board in 2001, which has meanwhile merged into Sparkasse Aachen .

In a comparative law study , he received his doctorate in law in 2008 in Freiburg . Groom worked for the Aachener Zeitung and Badische Zeitung during his student days .

From 2006 to 2009 he was an editor in the ARD legal department. On December 1, 2010, he became its editor-in-chief . As a legal expert for ARD and Möller's successor, he mainly reports from Karlsruhe on legal matters in connection with the Federal Constitutional Court , the Federal Court of Justice and the Federal Prosecutor's Office . He appears as a moderator at the ARD counselor law . Bridegroom is a regular guest as an expert on radio and television programs in order to make difficult legal issues understandable to listeners and viewers.

He is married, has two sons and lives in Rüppurr .
