Shipment info

The Frankenschau magazine is currently broadcast from Monday to Friday on BR Fernsehen Nord from 5:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. live from the Franken studio in Nuremberg . In the past, the Frankenschau was currently being shown under the title Abendschau Franken, at the very beginning it was called Bayern live - Der Norden .

Content and topics

The program Frankenschau aktuell broadcasts daily reports from politics, business, culture and sport from the three districts of Upper , Middle and Lower Franconia that belong to Franconia . Similar to the Sunday splitting show Frankenschau by BR Fernsehen Nord, which is also broadcast from Studio Franken in Nuremberg, the name of the show reveals which regions of Bavaria are reported from. In addition, each program also includes a live report from a location in Franconia.

The Franconian weather is presented at  around 5:55 p.m.

Immediately after the weather the program continues with the evening show (then again for all of Bavaria). For the transition to the evening show, reader pictures (mainly weather pictures) that viewers from the broadcasting area have sent in are played.

Moderators

The program is currently moderated weekly alternately by Julia Büchler , Karin Schubert and Charly Hilpert . The Franconian weather is currently mainly presented by Ulla Küffner, Rika Dechant and Jürgen Lassauer. The live reports are mostly carried out by Tobias Burkert, Conny Kleinschroth, Daniel Peter, Constanze Schulze, Birgitt Roßhirt, Uschi Schmidt, Markus Klingele and Albrecht Rauh.

More regional magazines for the evening show

In order to be able to report more strongly from the different regions of Bavaria, the Bavarian television introduced regional splitting on May 2, 1994 with the division of the evening show in Bavaria live - the north and Bavaria live - the south . From Monday to Thursday the regional reporting was broadcast on BR TV from 6:30 p.m. to 6:42 p.m. Since 2007, the splitting with the regional magazines, which also contain regional weather forecasts, has been taking place Monday to Friday from 5:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. While the Frankenschau is currently coming to the north of Bavaria in the splitting program BR Fernsehen Nord from the Studio Franken in Nuremberg, the program Abendschau - The South (or earlier: Schwaben & Altbayern aktuell ) is running out on BR Fernsehen Süd at the same time for the south of Bavaria the evening show studio in Munich .
