Franz August Gustav Adam Hubertus Friedrich Wilhelm Hans Karl Graf zu Erbach-Erbach and von Wartenberg-Roth (born February 5, 1925 in Erbach (Odenwald) ; † October 2, 2015 ibid) was the head of the Erbach-Erbach family in his region as Count Franz II. Zu Erbach-Erbach known and owner of the church patronage over the parish offices of Erbach Nord and Reichelsheim , owner of a historically and culturally significant private archive and protector of the Catholic Church of St. Georg in Würzberg , co-founder of the German Ivory Museum and patron of theErbach Chamber Concerts. origin

The parents of Franz Graf zu Erbach-Erbach and von Wartenberg-Roth were Alexander Graf zu Erbach-Erbach and von Wartenberg-Roth , Herr zu Breuberg, Wildenstein, Steinbach, Curl and Ostermannshofen (* 1891, † 1952) and his wife Christa von Zülow (* 1894; † 1962). He was a landlord with a hereditary seat in the first chamber of the state estates of the Grand Duchy of Hesse and the right to be addressed from the noble family Erbach . Protector of St. Georg in Würzberg

Franz zu Erbach-Erbach married his first marriage on March 27, 1952 in Arolsen Margarethe Princess zu Waldeck and Pyrmont (* 1923; † 2003), daughter of Prince Josias zu Waldeck and Pyrmont and his wife Altburg Duchess of Oldenburg, with whom he up was married to the divorce that took place on July 10, 1979 in Michelstadt.
