Franz Schuh (Author)
Franz Schuh (born March 15, 1947 in Vienna ) is an Austrian writer and essayist .
Life
Franz Schuh studied philosophy , history and German in Vienna and graduated in 1975 with a doctorate in Hegel and the logic of practice . During this time he also stayed at Café Dobner, where he met Lukas Resetarits , whose “Schmäh” Schuh himself had a great influence on his writing. 1976–1980 he was general secretary of the Graz Authors' Assembly , then editor of the magazine Wespennest and head of the essayistic and literary program of the Deuticke publishing house . He works as a freelancer for various radio stations and national newspapers and as a lecturer at the University of Applied Arts Vienna and was a guest at the Literaturhaus Wien . Since June 2009 he has been writing a column in the magazine Datum and speaks on the radio program Ö1 in his “Magazin des Glücks”.
