The Town of Freeman is one of eleven Towns in Crawford County in the US -amerikanischen State Wisconsin . In 2010 the Town of Freeman had 739 residents.

The Town of Freeman is located in southwestern Wisconsin, the eastern shore of the border with Iowa forming Mississippi . The intersection of the three states of Wisconsin, Iowa and Minnesota is around 20 km north.

The Wisconsin State Highway 35 runs through the Town of Freeman and forms the Wisconsin section of the Great River Road here. A few kilometers south of De Soto, the Wisconsin State Highway 82 leads over the Black Hawk Bridge to the opposite bank of the Mississippi to Iowa. The Wisconsin State Highway 171 runs along the southern border. In addition, the County Highways B and V run through the area of the Town of Freeman. All other roads are subordinate country roads and some unpaved roads.
A railway line of the BNSF Railway runs along the Mississippi for freight traffic .
With the Prairie du Chien Municipal Airport there is a small airfield around 40 to the south. The nearest commercial airports are Dubuque Regional Airport in Iowa (around 140 km south), La Crosse Regional Airport (around 70 km north) and Dane County Regional Airport in Wisconsin's capital Madison (around 170 km east).
