song

As the title suggests, the song is about freedom. The count praises that he is not allowed to behave as he wants in public, he should / must adjust to the rest of the population in order not to attract negative attention. At the beginning of the text, the count sings how to behave in public, at the end he sings about how he wants to behave. The song serves to encourage people to behave as one would like.

“When you walk through the streets,
you should be quiet.
If you do what you dream of,
you should be quiet.
If you see what you believe in,
you should be quiet.
When you say what you think
you should be quiet.
...
When I feel that I am dying,
then I want to be quiet.
When I feel that I am alive,
I want to scream louder. "
