The Berlin Amateur Football League 1964/65 was the fifteenth season of the top amateur class in West Berlin . The Amateur League Berlin was below the Regionalliga Berlin and thus on the third highest German league level. The 1. FC Neukölln was Berlin's Amateur champion in 1965, rose to the regional and was the Berlin representative at the amateur championship of the DFB . As part of the expansion of the Regionalliga from ten to sixteen clubs, SC Gatow , SC Tegel , VfB Hermsdorf , SC Staaken and Lichterfelder SU were promoted. The Sportfreunde Neukölln were the only club to be relegated from the amateur league.
