The Berlin Amateur Football League 1972/73 was the twenty-third season of the top amateur class in West Berlin . The Amateur League Berlin was below the Regionalliga Berlin and thus on the third highest German league level. The BBC Südost became Berlin amateur champions in 1973, rose to the regional league and was the Berlin representative at the amateur championship of the DFB . Second promoted to the Regionalliga was SC Westend 1901 , while SC Tegel , SC des Westens 97 and VfL Nord Berlin were relegated from the amateur league.
