The 1st Amateur League North Württemberg 1972/73 was the thirteenth season of the 1st Amateur League in North Württemberg. SSV Ulm won the championship in 1846 with three points ahead of VfR Aalen . With a 3-2 win over SpVgg Lindau as the best Württemberg team in the Black Forest-Bodensee League, Ulm also defended its title as Württemberg champion. In the promotion round to the Regionalliga Süd , SSV Ulm only finished third in 1846 and thus missed promotion.

The amateurs of the Stuttgarter Kickers , VfL Sindelfingen and Union Böckingen were relegated to the 2nd amateur league.
