The 1st Amateur League North Württemberg 1973/74 was the fourteenth season of the 1st Amateur League in North Württemberg. VfR Aalen won the championship one point ahead of defending champion SSV Ulm 1846 . With the introduction of the two-part 2nd Bundesliga , there were no promoters from the 1st amateur league. In the final of the Württemberg championship, Aalen lost 2-1 to SSV Reutlingen 05 as the best Württemberg team in the Black Forest-Bodensee League.

The SC Stuttgart , the SC Geislingen , the TSV Neu-Ulm and the TV Gültstein dismounted in the second amateur league.
