The 1st amateur league Württemberg 1954/55 was the fifth season of the 1st amateur league . The SSV Ulm 1928 won the Württemberg Football League with three points ahead of 1. FC Eislingen and thus qualified for the promotion round to II. Division , where you at FC Penzberg failed. 1. FC Eislingen took part in the German amateur championship in 1955 as the Württemberg representative and was eliminated in the preliminary round.

The SpVgg Feuerbach , the FC 08 Tuttlingen and Normannia Gmund dismounted in the second amateur league.

With a draw against their strongest opponent FC Eislingen, SSV Ulm achieved their greatest success in the post-war period: They won the Württemberg championship of football amateurs with a 1-1 draw in Tuttlingen. Coming from the second amateur league, the Ulm kickers achieved class victory in their first season.
