The 1. Amateur League Black Forest-Bodensee 1972/73 was the 13th season of the joint league of the Württemberg Football Association and the South Baden Football Association . It was also the 23rd season of the first amateur league Wuerttemberg and the first amateur league South Baden and the 13th season in which in Württemberg in the two seasons Nordwürttemberg and Black Forest-Lake Constance and in South Baden in the two seasons southern Baden and Black Forest-Lake Constance played has been. The championship of the Black Forest-Bodensee-Liga was won by the relegated regional league FC 08 Villingen , who just had to give VfR Mannheim the go-ahead in the promotion round to the Regionalliga Süd due to a 0-1 defeat in the last game in Mannheim.
The two South Baden clubs ESV Singen and FC Konstanz had to go down to the 2nd amateur league ; in addition, the SSV Reutlingen 05 amateurs and the SpVgg Freudenstadt from Württemberg could not keep the class.
