The 1st amateur league Württemberg 1953/54 was the fourth season of the 1st amateur league . The VfB Friedrichshafen won the Württemberg Football Championship by a single point before the teams of VfR Schwenningen and 1. FC Eislingen . Since Friedrichshafen renounced the promotion to the II. Division , it came between Schwenningen and Eislingen to a playoff for 2nd place and the associated right to participate in the promotion round to the II. Division. 1. FC Eislingen won the playoff with 5-1, but finished last in the promotion round. VfB Friedrichshafen took part in the German amateur championship in 1954 as the Württemberg representative and made it to the semi-finals.

The Sportfreunde Stuttgart and SC Schwenningen dismounted in the second amateur league.
