The 1st amateur league Württemberg 1958/59 was the ninth season of the 1st amateur league . The SC Geislingen won Württembergische football championship with two points ahead of last year's champion Union Böckingen . Geislingen thus qualified for the promotion round to the II. Division , where however only the penultimate place occupied.

The VfR Aalen and VfB Friedrichshafen went directly into the second amateur leagues. The teams of FV Zuffenhausen and FV Ravensburg with the same points determined the last relegated team in a play-off. After Zuffenhausen won 2-0, Ravensburg also had to relegate.
