The soccer regional league Mittelrhein 1949/50 was the first season of the highest soccer amateur class in the area of ​​the soccer association Mittelrhein under the designation Landesliga . The Landesliga Mittelrhein was the successor to the Rheinbezirksliga and was located below the 2nd League West on the third level of the then German league football.

The championship in 1950 was SG Düren 99 , which rose together with SC Fortuna Cologne and VfL Cologne in 1899 to the 2nd League West . There was no descent; the Landesliga Mittelrhein was expanded to two seasons in the following season 1950/51.
