The Verbandsliga Mittelrhein 1966/67 was the 11th season of the Verbandsliga Mittelrhein , which from 1962 to 1978 was the top division in men's amateur football on the Middle Rhine . From 1963, this league, together with the Lower Rhine and Westphalia leagues, formed the substructure of the West Regional Football League and was third-class in the German football league system of that time .

Season end

The 1. FC Köln amateurs were Middle Rhine champions, but remained in the league because they had no promotion rights as the second team. Instead, SC Fortuna Köln took part in the promotion round to Regionalliga West as runner-up . There they finished third and rose. The Eschweiler SG and the Alemannia Aachen Amateurs were relegated to the Landesliga Mittelrhein . Rose to new from the national leagues season 1967/68 the TuS Höhenhaus and the SC Jülich 10 on.
