The Verbandsliga Mittelrhein 1963/64 was the 8th season of the Verbandsliga Mittelrhein , which was the top division in amateur football for men from 1962 to 1978 . From 1963, this league, together with the Lower Rhine and Westphalia leagues, formed the substructure of the West Regional Football League and was third-class in the German football league system of that time .

Season end

The SV Schlebusch was Middle Rhine champion, but remained in the league because he could not prevail in the promotion round to Regionalliga West 1964/65 against Eintracht Gelsenkirchen and Homberger SV. The SV Baesweiler 09 , Alemannia Mariadorf and Rhenania Würselen were relegated to the Landesliga Mittelrhein . The amateurs of Bayer 04 Leverkusen , VfL Köln 1899 and Alemannia Aachen amateurs rose from the national leagues for the new 1964/65 season .
