Together with one other person, he has been managing director and web designer at the Herrlich Media agency since 2011.

In 2016 he and a business partner bought an old farm in Rüspel, which he transformed into the Kliemannsland project. In 2018, Kliemann and Olli Schulz took over the houseboat of the singer Gunter Gabriel, who died in June 2017, for around 30,000 euros, the conversion of which is associated with high costs and which is to be used as a studio for small television and music productions.

activities

YouTube channels

All Kliemann channels are ad-free and are not supported by paid product placements. However, the Kliemannsland project was financed with funds from Funk together with NDR television until July 31, 2020 .

Fynn Kliemann - The home improvement ring

In this channel, Kliemann documents various private projects that quickly gained notoriety due to a quick editing style, amateurism, humor and frequent mishaps. At the beginning of 2016 the hardware store chain Hornbach copied this style for a promotional video and was heavily criticized for it. Kliemann responded only a few hours later with his own video, for which he received a lot of encouragement from his community.

The Kliemannsland

The Kliemannsland is a web series that was produced together with Funk until July 31, 2020 and is filmed on a spacious courtyard in Rüspel , which is gradually being converted into a center for creative people. In 2017, Kliemannsland won the Germany Web Video Prize in the “Lifestyle” category and the Studio Hamburg Young Talent Prize in the “Best Entertainment” category. The format was initially closely linked to the web broadcaster Rocket Beans TV and there were frequent joint broadcasts; In addition, the episodes of Kliemannsland are broadcast on RBTV's regular program. In the summer of 2017, the Viva con Agua network meeting with 500 participants took place on the grounds of the Kliemannsland. The channel publishes at least one video per week and now contains several formats about music, gardening, village life or construction projects, there is also regular cooperation within the NDR and the funk program and there are always larger events such as a Christmas market, concerts, a flea market or live program.

music

According to his own statements, Kliemann has been making music since his youth. At first he played drums and later he was the guitarist of a singer-songwriter duo. When his musical companion started his own business, Kliemann began producing music on the computer. In addition to occasional live appearances with loop stations, he published individual titles on YouTube and Facebook. When the record company Four Music noticed him and offered him a recording contract, Kliemann declined and decided to produce his first solo album on his own, for which he founded the label two Finger Records .

On the YouTube channel Fynn Kliemann Musik (formerly fimbim ), Kliemann initially published shorter pieces of music, often based on loop sessions. Later the songs from his home improvement videos were added. On June 8, 2018, Kliemann's first single Morgen was released on the channel , at the same time the advance sales of his debut album , which was released on September 28, 2018, never started. The album was never physically available as a CD or record in a limited edition equal to the number of pre-orders ; the album is also available on popular download and streaming portals such as iTunes or Spotify .

Kliemann published the 1-minute video in early 2020 . At the same time he announced his second album POP , which was released on May 29, 2020. The album POP was physically only available by pre-order and limited by the number of pre-orders.

In 2020 Kliemann published the music video Throw my LIFE on the RUBBISH . A few days before it was released, he launched a call to recreate a frame of his music video. According to his own statement, 50,000 images came together in less than ten hours, which he incorporated into the music video. Kliemann started this campaign because he had shot his music video from home due to the corona pandemic . He himself claims that this video "should be the music video with the most performers in the world".

play

Kliemann played a forest worker in the Detlef Buck film Bibi & Tina: Tohuwabohu Total . In 2017 he was seen in a guest role as a police officer in the mystery series Wishlist and heard in a speaking role in the Minecraft series Antarctica . Both web series formats are produced by the public media service Funk.

Motion picture

On May 29, 2020, Fynn Kliemann's documentary "100,000 - Everything I never wanted." Was to be shown in all German cinemas . His plan was that after a day the documentary should never be shown in the cinema again. Due to the corona pandemic, Kliemann had changed his concept, which is why his 80-minute movie could be viewed online for 24 hours on April 25, 2020. For this he had sold tickets and donated 25% of the proceeds to local cinemas. The documentation has been available for free on Joyn since May 29, 2020 .

watch TV

At the moment Kliemann is working with Lüttenshoff GmbH on a new ZDFneo show with the working title "Die Liefer".
