Güzelbahçe ( Turkish for beautiful garden ) is a district in the province of Izmir in western Turkey and is part of the Büyükşehir Belediyesi (Metropolitan Municipality) of Izmir . After a regional reform, the city is identical in terms of population and area to the district.

The district can be reached from Izmir via a toll motorway and is located around 25 km west of the center of the city. Güzelbahçe has a small fishing port on the Gulf of Izmir and has been expanded into a satellite town in recent years .
