Kiraz (Turkish for cherry ) is a city and a district in the Turkish province of Izmir . The city is located about 100 kilometers east of the provincial capital Izmir on the D-310 road, which runs east from Torbalı to Alaşehir . After a regional reform, the city is identical in terms of population and area to the district.

The district is located in the far east of the province and borders Ödemiş and Beydağ to the west and the Aydın and Manisa provinces to the east . The city is located on the Küçük Menderes River and on the southern slope of the Boz Dağları Mountains .
