The national road 225 ( Chinese 225 国 道 , Pinyin 225 Guódào , English China National Highway 225 ), Chinese abbreviation G225 , is a 429 km long trunk road in the north and west of the island and Hainan province in southern China . It runs from the provincial capital Haikou in the north of the island via Danzhou and Dongfang to Sanya on the south coast. It runs parallel to the northern and western parts of the G98 ring road .
