Gavin Andrew Hoyte (born June 6, 1990 in Waltham Forest , London ) is an English football player on the position of defender .

Club career

The beginnings and captain of the reserve team

Hoyte played since 1999 in the youth division of the English top club Arsenal . From this point on he went through several youth league classes until he finally came to regular assignments in the U-18 team and in the reserve team with play in the Premier Reserve League . In the 2006/07 season he led the U-18 team as captain . After a successful season, Hoyte was presented with a professional contract on September 10, 2007, around three months after his 17th birthday, which he then signed. In the 2008/09 season he was appointed team captain of the reserve team.
